The sun shone just long enough for Katie and Clay’s Queen’s Garden wedding ceremony in Queens Gardens. Mind you nothing took the smiles from their faces on this wedding day! Katie and Clay had the perfect attitude for a stress free wedding day, and “keep it simple” was their mantra.

Katie and Clay chose to have just two in their bridal party and after just a couple of bridal party photos let them off the hook to be with their partners. The remainder of the Queen’s Garden wedding photos were with Katie and Clay. This was an easy job, being with two people so obviously in love and enjoying each-others company. The family photographs were taken after the wedding ceremony. They were taken as the rain started to fall but all was good as the rain was not to heavy. The rest of the wedding photographs were taken around the Queen’s gardens. Some of the photographs were taken with an umbrella and they looked great. We then headed to Perth and photographed in some streets near the Royal Perth Hospital. Katie and Clay headed to the Fraser Suits to rest before they arrived at the reception. Before they left we captured some wonderful wedding sunset photographs on the balcony of their suite at Fraser Suits Perth.

They met up with their family and guests at the Universal Bar in Northbridge for their cocktail reception. Katie and Clay made a great entrance and then proceeded to have some very moving speeches from family and friends. After the speeches they moved onto the dance floor.

Want to know how Katie kept it simple? Katie’s dress was from Brides Selection, Katie and her sister made their bouquets from flowers purchased from Swan Valley Flower Farm, Katie styled the reception, their rings were from Michael Hill and Clay’s good friend played chauffeur for the day.
