1 485-154From beginning to end Mel and Charles’s Yacht Club wedding day was one of fun and celebration. While Mel and the girls were enjoying champagne and having hair and makeup styled we starting at Charles’s home. We photographed him and the guys as well as his parents relaxing around the pool table and posing for us in his dad’s pride and joy the TD 2000 MG Replica. The boys continued the relaxed start to the day with a half hour boat trip to the Royal Perth Yacht Club for the Yacht Club wedding ceremony.

Of course the Royal Perth Yacht Club is the perfect setting for the Yacht Club wedding ceremony with the yachts and the Swan River making a magic backdrop. Celebrant Luke Firth conducted an informal and inclusive ceremony making everyone there feel part of a very special occasion and most importantly Mel and Charlie felt relaxed. After the wedding the bridal party travelled to the park at the bottom of Kings Park for some fun photographs with the bridal party.

Their friend and MC got the reception off to a fun start with a heads and tails (read bums) game of “Who Knows the Bride and Groom Best”. The guests were standing and had to indicate their answers to questions about the bride and groom by placing their hand on their heads or tails. Probably not so surprising it was couple of good friends who were the last standing. Later in the evening Mel and her dad surprised everyone there including Charles with a hilarious melody of dance moves to their favourite music, – an absolute hoot! The reception at The Royal Perth Yacht Club was a rip roaring success.
