Darryl’s eye for detail led him to design the engagement ring he was to give Jasmin. Once designed Darryl took the drawings to Jasmin’s grandmother who owns Quirici Jewellers in Fremantle and she had the ring made. When Darryl eventually gave the engagement ring to Jasmine she told us she was crying and laughing so much that she “thought the tears must have been magnifying the diamond”, – but no, – it was a very big diamond!
Some months after Jasmin had accepted Darryl’s proposal we arrived at Jasmin’s grandmother’s home in Applecross to find a relaxed a confident group of women preparing for the wedding day ahead. Being in the hair and beauty business, Jasmin owns “Jaz It Up Hair and Beauty” in Willetton, Jasmin had done her own make up and and her friend came in to make sure everyones hair was done to last the day. Hearing that Jasmin hadn’t been able to collect her bridal gown until 7.30pm the evening before, we were somewhat surprised that she was looking so relaxed. That appears to be just part of Jasmin’s personality, to take things as they come and to not worry about things that you yourself, can’t change. A really good attitude, especially on a wedding day.
Jasmin’s eye for quality and detail led her to Aekamei in Claremont Perth. Her gown fitted like a second skin and she looked stunning. The bridesmaids looked stunning in their coral gowns. Joining Jasmin for bridal portraits at the home were not only her mum and grandmother, but her great grandmother as well. I think that’s the first time we’ve have four generations at a wedding!
After a couple of mishaps at Darryl’s home the boys arrived at the church in a red Maserati and Ferrari, just in time to beat Jasmin walking down the aisle. Jasmin and Darryl had the support of many friends and family on the day and after congratulations and family photographs at the church the bridal party went for wedding photographs. The final Acqua Viva wedding shots for the daywere taken at Acqua Viva where they had their reception.
As alway Acqua Viva looked sensational. The room was styled by Perth Weddings and Special Events who also arranged flowers for the day. Umberto’s warm and friendly manner makes every guest feel at home. An Acqua Viva wedding is always sensational.
