Gabby was so thrilled she had tears when she realised after speaking to Graeme at the Boatshed Restaurant that she and Daniel could afford to have their wedding reception at the place of her dreams. Gabby then went about creating the wedding day of her dreams. Bridal Bentley chauffeured Gabby and Daniel on their wedding day from Scarborough for the wedding ceremony to Cottesloe for the wedding photos, to the Little Boatshed in Crawley for a couple of feature shots and then to the Boatshed Restaurant for their wedding reception. Daniel, his brothers and their children all gathered at his parent’s family home on the morning of the wedding. The brothers were giving the obligatory ribbing to the groom to be, the kids were being kids and Daniel’s folks were taking it all in their stride. From Daniel’s home the next stop was to see Gabby and her sisters at her parent’s home. They had decided to keep it all in the family with bothers, sisters, their little boy and nieces and nephews in the bridal party. All the women looked amazing. Total Brides had styled their hair and Kristen Ashton was the make up artist. We’ve worked with Kristen and Total Brides on numerous occasions and they always leave us with very happy brides, their work is fantastic. Gabby found her dream bridal gown at Tuscany Bridal, her shoes were from Novo and the bridal bouquets were created by Jane McGlynn from Ivy Flowers. The Cottesloe Civic Centre was Gabby’s first pick of locations for her wedding photos. It’s a classic setting offering back-drops of architecture, wrought iron work, gazebos and classic styled gardens. Her second choice was the little blue boatshed on Mounts Bay Road. We called in briefly to capture some shots of just Gabby and Daniel on the jetty leading to the boatshed. Gabby’s final destination on her wish list was the Boatshed Restaurant where we captured the magnificent Swan River with the city views. The Boatshed Restaurant was styled by Clair and Gabby had made bombonieres of navy and ivory boxes with Lindt chocolates. We left Gabby and Daniel living it up on the dance floor.
