429-070 Kimberly and Josh chose the sea side town of Mandurah to celebrate their wedding and had their reception at the Mandurah Quay Resort. Friends and relatives from near and far came to join the celebrations, some choosing to stay for a few days to help extend the celebrations.

Kimberly’s bridal gown was from Tuscany and Josh’s suit was from Bossini in the city. The groomsmen all chose the same suit, which had been tailored to fit. They looked awesome. The girls had their hair styled by Caitlin Carstairs and their make up by a friend Sarah Christie. The flowers were created by Prestige in Waikiki.

The lovely old church that Kimberly and Josh chose to marry in was originally built in 1870. They had the novel idea of cutting the cake after the ceremony, outside the church so many of their friends who wouldn’t be at the reception could share in a taste of the cake. After the family photos outside the church we headed off to Mandurah Quay Resort for bridal party photos prior to the reception.

The Mandurah Quay Resort offers a great variety of back drops for wedding photos, everything from the estuary to greenery, the jetty’s and boardwalks. We made the most of what was on offer and captured wonderful images in the bush amongst the trees as well as sunset shots along the estuary with the moon high in the sky.
